Visit: Thimphu 2N, Wangdue, Punakha 2N, Paro 3N 



Day 01: Paro - Thimphu
Arrive at Paro airport, report to the coach and proceed to Thimphu - the capital city of Bhutan. Later visit King's Memorial Chorten, Chang Gangkha Monastery - one of the oldest monastery in the valley, National Zoo which contains Takin the national animal of Bhutan, National Library that has collection of holy scripts and BBS Tower.

Day 02: Thimphu
Visit Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts also known as the painting school, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Traditional Paper Factory.

Day 03: Thimphu - Wangdue - Punakha
Proceed to Wangduephodrang via Dochu La Pass (3,100 meters), where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of the Himalayas. In Wangdue visit Mehsina village and Chime Lhakhang - The Temple of Fertility built in 15th century by Lama Drukpa Kinley. Later proceed to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, and visit Punakha Dzong, which is noteworthy both for being one of the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan and also for having been built by the first Shabdrung in 1637.

Day 04: Punakha - Phobjikha valley - Punakha
Visit Gangtey and Phobjikha valleys located at an altitude of 3000m. The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan. The surprise of finding such a wide, flat valley without any trees after the hard climb through dense forests is augmented by an impression of vast space, and extremely rare experience in Bhutan where most of the valley's are tightly enclosed. A few kilometers beyond the Gangtey Monastery, on the valley floor lays the village of Phobjikha. This place is the winter home of black necked cranes that migrate from the arid plains in the north to pass winter in milder and lower climate. Phobjikha, at an altitude of 2900 m, falls under the district of Wangduephodrang and lies on the periphery of the Black Mountain National Park.

Day 05: Punakha - Paro
Proceed to Paro. En-route visit Tango Monastery (Horse's Head). Tango Monastery is a Buddhist college and residence of Desi Tenzin Rabgye, a young boy who is the reincarnation of the 16th-century monk who built Tango. Arrive at Paro in the evening. Note: It takes about 45 minutes to hike to the monastery.

Day 06: Paro
Visit Taktshang Monastery (Tiger's Nest). The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss, and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. The primary Lhakhang was built around Guru Rinpoche's meditation cave in the 1684 by the Pen lop of Paro Gyaltse Tenzin Rabgay. This incredible monastery clings to the edge of a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava, the tantric mystic who brought Buddhism to Bhutan, flew here on the back of a flying tiger, Dorji Drolo, said to be his favourite consort. Enjoy shopping in the evening. Note: Hike for Taktshang monastery takes about 02:30 hrs [3500mtr from Sea level].

Day 07: Paro - Chelela Pass - Paro
Proceed to Chelela Pass one among the highest motorable roads in Bhutan. Later enjoy the city tour of Paro which includes Drukgyel, the ruined fortress from where the peak of Mount Chomolhari can be clearly seen.

Day 06: Departure from Paro
Board the flight for your hometown. Tour Concludes.
